Position Overview

CUMULUS MEDIA | Columbia, SC is expanding its sales force in Columbia and surrounding areas, and we’re looking for a digitally savvy, results-driven Local & Digital Marketing Account Executive to join our team. This role blends traditional media with cutting-edge digital solutions, offering a dynamic opportunity to work across four influential radio stations and a full suite of digital marketing platforms.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow client relationships by understanding their business goals and crafting integrated marketing solutions using both broadcast and digital assets.
• Prospect and close new business through networking, cold calling, and digital outreach.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase the power of Cumulus’s multi-platform offerings.
• Represent a full suite of marketing tools, including radio, streaming, social media, digital display, email marketing, and events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously expand your product knowledge in both traditional and digital media.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years in Media Sales background preferred
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or related field is preferred
• Proven ability to exceed sales goals and manage a full pipeline of prospects.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing solutions and online presence strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
• High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for helping clients succeed.
