Essential Functions Install, set up, and configure radio communication equipment at various field locations. Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure newly installed or modified equipment meets design specifications and operational requirements. Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks on RF systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Perform corrective maintenance, including diagnosing faults, repairing or replacing malfunctioning components often under time pressure. Identify, analyze, and resolve RF system performance issues, such as interference, signal degradation, or poor coverage. Utilize specialized RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, TDRs) to measure system performance, diagnose problems, and verify repairs. Maintain accurate and detailed records of installations, maintenance activities, repairs performed, test results, and system configurations.
