Farm Radio Network Seeking Experienced Broadcaster

The Position: We’re looking for a farm broadcaster. RRFN offers health/dental insurance and retirement benefits.

Requirements:
• Proficiency or willingness to learn the appropriate software (i.e. Adobe Audition)
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Excellent communication skills
• A farm background is a plus, but not a requirement.
Responsibilities:
Farm Broadcaster:
• On-air farm news and market reports
• Interviewing news sources
• Writing news stories for on-air and online platforms
• Ability to travel and cover meetings and ag events on regional and national level
• Ability and willingness to assist with technology/equipment
• Produce podcasts as needed
• Voice commercials and provide oversight to commercial production
• Assist with RRFN’s digital strategy, including website, social media and e-newsletter
• Interface with outside newsmakers, clients, radio affiliates
