CUMULUS | Little Rock, AR currently features 8 stations in the Little Rock market:  KIPR 92.3 “Power 92 Jams”, KLAL 107.7 “Alice 107.7”, KURB 98.5 “B98.5”, KARN-FM 102.9 “News Radio 102.9”, KOKY 102.1 “The Legendary KOKY”, KPZK 102.5 “Praise”, KARN-AM 920 “The Sports Animal” and KAAY-AM 1090 “The Mighty 1090”.

 

Position Overview

Let’s be honest—too many shows today feel phoned‑in. Syndicated. Voice‑tracked. Someone talking at a city they’ve never actually been to. Not here.

 

CUMULUS MEDIA CENTRAL ARKANSAS is building something bigger than “hit the post and go home.” We’re searching for an on-air host who can own a mic, a camera, and a conversation—on the air, online, and out in the community.

If you can make listeners feel seen from Little Rock to Conway to Benton/Bryant, and bring smart, social‑first content that lives beyond the on‑air break, we should talk.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

• Host a live, local show built around personality, lifestyle, and real connection.

• Create daily social content.

• Engage listeners via calls, texts, socials, and digital.

• Bring Central Arkansas culture into everything.

• Represent the station at concerts, charity events, and activations.

• Collaborate with programming, promotions, digital, and sales.

• Support production.

• Step up during weather emergencies.

 

Qualifications:

• On-Air experience with successful ratings history preferred

   

• Experience with OpX, Telos, VoxPro, Ocean Audio, Reaper, Audience IO.

   

• Ability to write and produce creative radio content.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and social networking
• Strong knowledge of FCC rules and regulations
• Socially informed and perceptive; up-to-date and in tune daily with the local and national trends and/or specialized knowledge of topics/events related to on-air discussions
• Demonstrated creativity and imagination on air and on-line
• Thrives in a team environment
• Demo of show, interviews, commentary, social media and any video work should be added to online profile/application
