Digital Producer - The Dave and Chuck The Freak Show

Beasley Media Group – Detroit (101 WRIF) is seeking a high-energy Digital Producer for the Dave & Chuck the Freak morning show. This is a fast-paced, hybrid role responsible for the show’s digital heartbeat—from managing a massive online presence and producing chart-topping podcasts. The ideal candidate will optimize show content for web, social media, and podcast platforms daily.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content: Identify "freaky" news stories for show prep and write daily high-traffic web articles.
• Social Media: Film, edit, and manage original video and social content for DCTF and WRIF.
• Podcasting: Full daily production/editing of DCTF Full Podcast and Tasty Bits, including SEO show notes and timestamping.
• Technical: Monitor audio for copyright compliance and liaison with corporate digital for troubleshooting.Qualifications:
• Experience: 2+ years in digital content or social media management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Audition, Premiere, Photoshop) and WordPress.
• Speed: Ability to edit audio and write articles rapidly in a live broadcast environment.
• Availability: Must be available for morning show hours (early AM start).
• Judgment: Strong "filter" for DCTF-appropriate content and FCC/copyright guidelines.Last date for consideration: Until filled.
