Hi All in our beloved Radio Community,
Thank you for visiting the website today.
As the radio industry is shrinking, jobs in radio are becoming more sparse. Since AllAccess closed down the radio jobs page it has been difficult to search and find quality radio jobs to apply to. There are thousands of radio stations, and hundreds of radio companies. That’s a lot of websites to check for new radio job postings. And sites like Indeed include terms like “radiology” or “radio operator” or add too many irrelevent positions when searching their sites. I saw a need and hope I am doing a good job filling it.
I just want to run through a couple things that you should know.
1. I am one guy, doing this as a labor of love. (I have a couple family members chipping in their time for various tasks)
2. I do have an AI running through the blog, rewriting articles that come via RSS. Don’t be mad. It’s free content.
3. I don’t have the record industry paying me to run ads promoting artists and songs. The only way I can earn something with this site is to charge companies to post their job listings.
4. For companies that are interested in a membership, the membership is per location not per company. It would not be fair that a company with hundreds of stations across dozens of locations pay the same as as a company with one location.
5. I prepopulated the website with a handful of active job listings for free, but they will expire and I do not plan on adding more at this time. I may have to if the companies do not find value immediately.
This will only work if you tell your radio connections about it, and if you are in position to purchase a jobs posting membership for your radio company, I hope you will! I am doing this as a labor of love but with the hope of building something that will be a lasting legacy for my kids and create some decent passive income.
I hope RadioJobs.org to be the new home for radio jobs! With your help it can be!
