Orban and Super Hi-Fi Introduce an “All-in-One” Optimod
Orban and Super Hi-Fi collectively announced the most up to date addition to the Optimod line of product.
They’re defining the Optimod 5950 Super Hi-Fi Edition as “an all-in-one transmitter-based cloud playout device.” It integrates Orban audio processing and Super Hi-Fi’s AI-powered programming along with the just recently introduced HLS+ delivery innovation.
They call this “an all-in-one home appliance developed to replace shelfs of playout tools, sound handling, PPM encoding and metadata web servers in a single 1U rackspace,” including that it is planned to assist radio terminals simplify their tech stacks.
The box collaborates with HLS+ so stations can provide broadcasts and accurate metadata along with interactive, tailored variations of those same programs via mobile applications, clever audio speaker assimilations and internet clients.
HLS+is a new streaming modern technology from Super Hi-Fi, introduced a few weeks ago. Audacy’s 700+on the internet terminals are in the procedure of integrating it. This box was created in collaboration with Barix.
