Confirmed For ‘CBS News Confirmed’: A New EP
She’s referred to as “a skilled reporter and award-winning producer” and is coming from CNN. Introducing the brand-new Executive Producer of CBS News Confirmed.
Melissa Mahtani will certainly start her new role on April 22 and reports to Claudia Milne, senior vice head of state and head of standards and techniques for CBS News and Stations.
Mahtani will focus on creating the television, digital and social media presentation of the work of the CBS News Confirmed unit, a newly introduced campaign to determine, combat and educate customers of false information.
“Melissa’s deepness and breadth of experience across multiple media systems makes her the excellent individual to lead the audience-facing discussion of the work of CBS News Confirmed,” Milne claimed. “She understands just how to create tales and programs, tell stories and package info to get to the biggest audiences on whatever systems they’re watching or checking out. She will certainly be a substantial asset to our group.”
Mahtani most just recently acted as an elderly manufacturer and reporter for CNN given that 2017.

During her career, Mahtani has lived and worked in Zambia, the U.K., France, Spain, Italy and the United States.
Prior to joining CNN, Mahtani was an information manufacturer at France 24 and earlier at ITN. She started her occupation in 2007 at CNBC.
